The 37th ISARC will be held at the Kitakyushu International Conference Center in Kitakyushu City. Kitakyushu is located on the island of Kyushu in the western part of Japan. The city is full of charm and history. It is where Japanese steel manufacturing began and is now an area of modern industrialization. Many sub-cultures can be found there as well as beautiful nature and gourmet food. Kitakyushu is making leaps toward the 21st century in its attempt to become a city of international technology while maintaining a natural waterfront and the surrounding green environment. The Kitakyushu International Conference Center was completed in October 1992 as a central facility with the necessary convention functions.
The international convention zone is situated on the side of JR (Japan Railway) Kokura Station, and includes a network of buildings such as the international conference center, exhibition center and hotel.
